As a DOP with fifteen years experience, I have used a variety of formats and cameras, but almost everything I have shot recently has involved a Canon 5D, including two projects for the cinema, several projects for television, a drama with four cameras and a documentary.
In order to use the 5D as effectively as I would use a more conventional film or video camera I have assembled my own Kinomatik 5D rig.
In association with some colleagues I have developed a solution for recording sync sound with timecode and a complete post-production workflow.
